Cadash is a 1989 arcade fantasy beat 'em up game developed by Taito. Players choose from four characters—a warrior, a wizard, an elf, and a dwarf—to battle through various levels filled with monsters, traps and bosses. The gameplay involves traversing side-scrolling stages, defeating enemies using melee attacks, and collecting treasure. Each character possesses unique stats and skills.  The Japanese version released in 1989 notably differs from the later international releases. Versions released internationally generally showcase improved graphics and other minor adjustments. Cadash's blend of action, fantasy elements, and cooperative gameplay provided it a unique appeal for arcade players. It has also attained some fame as a cult classic. This game gained popularity in arcades around the world and has since had re-releases on various platforms.
