This version of Red Earth/War-Zard, marked Euro 961121, represents a later release compared to 961023. As with its predecessor, it remains a side-scrolling beat 'em up within the same fantasy setting.  The subtle difference in date suggests possible modifications or enhancements to the gameplay or perhaps adjustments based on user feedback and/or technical improvements. Given the similarities to the earlier version, the core gameplay mechanics would be expected to remain consistent.
