Populous for the Game Boy is a strategy game where players guide their civilization through various challenges. It's a simplified version of the original PC game, retaining the core gameplay of guiding your people, expanding your territory, and overcoming opponents.  The Game Boy version features a top-down perspective, and players use limited resources and abilities to grow their population and influence the world.  While not as complex as its PC counterpart, it captures the essence of the original God Game experience. Bullfrog Productions developed the original Populous game.
