Madden NFL 2002, a Game Boy Color title, offered another edition of the popular American football simulation series. With updated rosters for the 2001 NFL season, it provided fans with a portable way to experience the thrill of football. Gameplay remained consistent with the series, simplifying aspects for the handheld, while maintaining the core elements of the Madden NFL experience.  EA Sports developed this iteration as well.
