Command & Conquer (USA)

The US release of Command & Conquer on Nintendo 64 offered a console adaptation of the popular RTS title. Similar to the German version, the core gameplay revolved around base building, resource management and strategic combat. However, the control scheme would likely have been adjusted for the N64 controller. Given the technological limitations of the N64 compared to PCs of the time, some compromises in graphical fidelity and perhaps even the scope of the game were probably made. The game's porting likely involved a dedicated team to translate the game's interface and controls to the console.
