Darkman, released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), is an action game based on the 1990 film of the same name. Players control the titular Darkman, a scientist horribly disfigured but possessing superhuman abilities, as he navigates levels, fighting enemies and solving puzzles. Gameplay is largely side-scrolling beat 'em up style with elements of platforming. The game is known for its dark and gritty atmosphere, in line with the movie.
