Double Dragon, a side-scrolling beat 'em up, made its way to the NES in Europe. The European release closely follows the formula of the original arcade game, showcasing the brutal martial arts action.  Players control Billy or Jimmy Lee, navigating through city levels, fighting hordes of enemies using a variety of punches, kicks, and special moves. While the NES version may have limitations compared to arcade versions, it delivers the core Double Dragon experience.  The European release is representative of the game's international success.
