Fire Emblem Gaiden (Japan) [En by J2e v0.97b2] [Fix by Starwolfs]
Fire Emblem Gaiden, originally released in Japan for the Famicom (the Japanese NES), is a tactical role-playing game. It's notable for being a precursor to the immensely popular Fire Emblem series, laying the foundation for many of its core mechanics, such as the permadeath system. Gameplay involves turn-based tactical combat on a grid-based map, where players control a team of characters with unique abilities and stats. The game's story is deeply rooted in fantasy, involving warring factions and a complex plot. While not initially released in the West, fan translations have made it accessible to a global audience. It was developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo.
