This is a fan-translated version of Gegege no Kitarou - Youkai Dai Makyou for the NES. The original game was released in Japan.  Aishsha is the name of the translation group or individual who created this English version.  The translation allows English-speaking audiences to play the game. Gameplay is presumed to be identical to the original Japanese release, but now accessible to a wider audience. The subtitle, "Spooky Kitaro in the Yokai World," provides a more accessible title for English speakers.
