Honoo no Doukyuuji - Dodge Danpei 2, a sequel to the original Dodge Danpei, is a sports game for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) released in Japan. Gameplay involves dodgeball matches with various characters and power-ups.  The game was originally released only in Japan, but fan translations brought it to other audiences.  TransGen's v1.0a English translation, referenced in the title, is particularly notable.  It's a relatively obscure title compared to other NES sports games and it features competitive dodgeball gameplay with a focus on strategy and timing.
