Metroid Automap
Metroid Automap is a fan-made ROM hack of the original Metroid for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). It enhances the original game by adding an in-game automap feature, greatly improving navigation and exploration for players. The original Metroid, released in 1986 by Nintendo, is a seminal science fiction action-adventure game known for its exploration-heavy gameplay, atmosphere, and challenging difficulty. The gameplay in Metroid Automap remains identical to the original except for the newly implemented automap, a feature that greatly improves the quality of life for the player. The hack was created by a dedicated fan of the original game, rather than by Nintendo itself.
