The NES version of Millipede follows the same formula as the original arcade game and its other ports. Developed by Atari and released by various publishers (including Nintendo in some regions), it puts players in control of a turret, tasked with destroying waves of descending millipedes and other creatures.   Gameplay involves precise aiming, strategic movement, and quick reflexes to survive increasingly difficult levels.  The NES version, despite its limited graphical capabilities, captures the essence of the fast-paced, addictive gameplay which made the arcade original a hit.
