The US release of Taito Chase H.Q. for the PC-FX retains the core chase-oriented gameplay of the original game. The focus remains on high-speed action, avoiding obstacles and completing the objective within the time limit.  This version underwent localization, adapting the game's text and menus for the US audience. Any alterations from the original Japanese version might have been for content suitability or market standards. NEC managed the US port's development and publishing.
