Mega Man 8 is a platform game released in 1997 for the PlayStation. Developed and published by Capcom, it's a significant entry in the Mega Man series.  The game maintains the classic side-scrolling gameplay,  where Mega Man must defeat eight Robot Masters, each with unique weapons and abilities.  The game continued the series' hallmark challenging platforming with a memorable soundtrack and enhanced graphics for its time.
