Ogre Battle: Limited Edition is a tactical role-playing game (TRPG) released for the original PlayStation in 1997 in the US. It was developed by Quest and published by Atlus. It's an enhanced version of the Super Famicom title Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen. The game retains the original's strategic turn-based combat system where players control a party of diverse units, each with unique strengths, weaknesses, and abilities. The player controls various units across a large map. The game focuses on strategic positioning and effective use of each unit to defeat enemies. Unlike many turn-based RPGs, positioning and terrain play a significant role in battles. The story in the limited edition is mostly the same. The enhanced edition offers improvements such as better graphics, sound, and additional content not present in the original Super Famicom version. This includes additional units, weapons, and storylines.
