Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories is a trading card game (TCG) video game adaptation of the popular Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise. This Playstation classic features a vast card pool, allowing for diverse deckbuilding strategies.  The original game offered a single-player story mode where players duel various characters from the anime to become the King of Games.  Various modifications (mods) have been created by fans, significantly altering the gameplay experience; the 'dragon ball Z ver 5.3', 'Naruto V2', and 'Yuyu Hakusho' mods integrate characters and elements from these respective anime series into the Yu-Gi-Oh! universe. The core gameplay remains the same, however, the addition of these characters and their abilities makes for a unique experience.
