Released in 1994 for the Sega CD, BC Racers is a racing game that features detailed, digitized backgrounds. The game is notable for its use of FMV (full-motion video) cutscenes and its digitized sound, offering a more cinematic and immersive racing experience compared to other games of its time. Players could select from several cars with differing stats, racing across diverse tracks. The gameplay involves navigating the courses, avoiding obstacles, and taking shortcuts to gain an edge.  While the graphics were impressive for the system, it had less intuitive gameplay compared to some competitors.
