Mary Shelley's Frankenstein
Mary Shelley's Frankenstein is a 1993 Sega CD adaptation of the classic novel. Developed by Tiertex Design Studios, the game utilizes a point-and-click interface and features full-motion video (FMV) sequences interspersed with gameplay. The game's story largely follows the novel, presenting players with a series of challenges and puzzles to solve as they navigate the story. The use of FMV was ambitious for the time but wasn't always seamlessly integrated into the gameplay. The game aimed to capture the gothic atmosphere of the original story. Despite the technological limitations, its attempt to bring a literary classic to the interactive medium is noteworthy. It is considered one of the lesser-known Sega CD titles.
