Mortal Kombat
Mortal Kombat is a 1994 fighting game for the Sega CD. A port of the arcade hit, the game features the same brutal gameplay and roster of fighters as its arcade counterpart. The Sega CD version offers enhanced graphics and sound compared to the Genesis version. The game's popularity stemmed largely from the success of the arcade original. Its iconic characters and fast-paced combat system made it a success on the Sega CD as well, despite a few differences from the original arcade version. Although not graphically as advanced as some later fighting games, it remained a popular choice among fighting game fans.
