Power Monger is a role-playing game that stood apart for its unique gameplay mechanics on the Sega CD. It featured a strategy-focused battle system that differed from typical RPGs, demanding tactical thinking and resource management. Players managed multiple characters with different abilities, and victory relied on careful planning rather than just raw power. It used the multimedia capabilities of the Sega CD for a richer soundscape and graphical presentation than was typical for RPGs of the time.  Although not widely known, Power Monger is praised by some for its complex and engaging gameplay. Developed by Game Arts and published by Sega, it holds a unique position within the Sega CD's RPG lineup.
