Yet another prototype of Sonic the Hedgehog CD. This version likely reflects further refinements to the gameplay, level design and potentially some early versions of the soundtrack. Improvements in areas such as visual polish and stability were likely implemented. The fundamental gameplay loop, involving exploration, ring collection, and enemy defeat, would have been similar to the final release.
