Batman Forever, released on the Sega Genesis, adapts the movie of the same name into a side-scrolling beat 'em up. Players switch between Batman and Robin, each with unique moves and abilities, progressing through levels inspired by the film's story.  The gameplay retains the series' focus on combat but incorporates new elements reflecting the movie's plot and characters.
