Home Alone for the Sega Genesis is a platformer based on the popular movie of the same name. Released in 1991, the game follows Kevin McCallister as he navigates his neighborhood, avoiding burglars and causing various slapstick mishaps. Gameplay features side-scrolling levels with challenges requiring puzzle-solving and combat using improvised weaponry.  While not a direct port of the movie, it attempts to capture its spirit through its visuals and lighthearted tone. The game was produced by Sculptured Software and published by Acclaim Entertainment.
