Probotector (Europe)
Probotector is the European title for the game known as Contra III: The Alien Wars in other regions. This side-scrolling run-and-gun game features intense action, memorable music and challenging gameplay. It is a direct sequel to Contra, known for its brutal difficulty, and the game carries over that tradition, though it is a little more forgiving. The European release features altered graphics in places to minimize violence to comply with European standards of the time. The game's core gameplay remained the same across regions.
