Ultimate Mortal Kombat Trilogy is a fighting game released for the Sega Genesis in 1996. It served as a compilation of the previous Mortal Kombat games, featuring a large roster of characters, updated graphics (for the time), and an enhanced gameplay experience compared to its predecessors.  The game maintained the series' signature 2D fighting style,  with fatalities and other violent elements. Developed and published by Acclaim Entertainment, it aimed to provide the definitive Mortal Kombat experience on the Genesis.
