Double Dragon, a port of the popular arcade beat 'em up, arrived on the Sega Master System. This version faithfully replicated the side-scrolling action, featuring Billy and Jimmy Lee as they fight their way through hordes of enemies using a variety of punches, kicks, and special moves.  The game's iconic gameplay, involving cooperative two-player action and a challenging difficulty, made it a beloved entry in the franchise.  While the graphics were understandably scaled down from the arcade original,  they remained impressive for the system. Acclaim Entertainment is largely responsible for the game's release on the Sega Master System.
