This is a fan-made hack of Final Fantasy II, altering the game's difficulty. 'Dragonsbrethren' created this modification, significantly altering the difficulty and likely making the game easier to play.  The original story and characters remain, but the challenge is adjusted through modifications to enemy stats and encounter rates.  Square developed and published the original game, but this hack is an independent fan-made project.
