Populous II: Trials of the Olympian Gods, a sequel to the popular strategy game, expanded upon the original's gameplay with a focus on mythology. Players commanded followers, shaping the landscape and battling opponents, all based on the theme of Greek mythology. The SNES version replicated much of the original's gameplay. Bullfrog Productions developed this title as well, with variations in regional publishing.
