Another installment in the SD Gundam Generation series, Gryps Senki centers on the events of the Gryps War from Zeta Gundam. The gameplay remains consistent with the turn-based tactical RPG style, but with a roster of Mobile Suits and characters drawn from this particular storyline. The strategic depth comes from carefully selecting units, utilizing their special abilities and exploiting battlefield advantages. Like its predecessor, it was developed and published by Bandai exclusively for the Japanese Super Nintendo market.
