Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project is a side-scrolling beat 'em up released for the NES in 1993. It is considered by many to be the best of the NES TMNT titles, improving on both the gameplay and visuals of its predecessors. The game retains the same core gameplay of fighting through stages and defeating enemies, but it featured improved graphics, animations, and level design, along with various new features such as additional moves for the playable characters. Konami developed and published this title, which brought the franchise's unique brand of action to the NES once more, capitalizing on the enduring popularity of the franchise.
